‘Since I have been here, my life has changed a lot…miraculously I must say. My mom is very important in my life and she works so hard to keep her children happy. I just want to thank you for making her life easier and giving me this opportunity to be here. The accommodation, the food, the facilities and the school in general, is just a blessing to be part of it and thank you very much for it…I don’t know where I would’ve been if it wasn’t for you….I’ve met people here with the same dreams as I have with no negativity at all’

‘I’d like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of the Athletics Academy. Thank you for the opportunity to improve my academics and to excel in my sport. You have taken me out of a bad environment. Where I lived, there were drugs all over and people my age smoking and gambling. I hope, pray and believe that God will grant you many more years of doing these things for many more learners, for many more generations to come.’

‘I thank the Lord for what I have now. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here. Since I came to HPC a lot of things changed in my life. At home I didn’t have what I have here – the training, healthy food, academics etc., and I also didn’t perform very well on my sport and academics. I thank the Lord our God for the donor and Trust, without them and the pocket money we get, I wouldn’t be able to even buy toiletries for myself since my home background is very bad. HPC means a lot to me. Thank you so much. I would like to meet you one day and say those words to your face.’

‘I just want to say thank you for all you have done for me. I only came last year but many things have changed in my life already. I am in a better place and I feel privileged to be here. I miss home sometimes, but I have to stay here because this is my dream come true’ Many people wanted to be here but they couldn’t. I feel that I have to know what I’m here for and to be successful. I owe you a debt of gratitude for all that you have done for me.

Thank you.’
