The Trust has partnered with the University of Pretoria to achieve our dream of developing and educating future Olympic gold medalists.
TuksSport High School
Athletes, sponsored by the Trust, attend the TuksSport High School. The Trust has spent R50m building the TuksSport High School on the University’s sports campus.
The School Offers:

The Athletic Foundation Trust was established to provide an opportunity for bright, young, underprivileged students to achieve academically and athletically in a supportive environment. We are a PBO non-profit organization that assists with the cost of education and other related expenses for talented but economically challenged athletes.
High-Performance Centre (‘HPC’)
- 76 hectares of dedicated sports grounds
- The University’s Institute of Sports Research (ISR) endorsed
- State-of-the-art technology and expertise including outstanding training facilities, medical, accommodation, and catering services
- High altitude (1 500m above sea level)
- Easy access to OR Tambo International Airport which makes it a natural meeting place for visiting local and international athletes, sports science professionals, administrators, funders, and sports enthusiasts
